Rick Jackson's letter bashing Charlie Fogarty "Checkbook Charlie" is absurd! The last time I checked, state employee unions payed taxes. Teachers unions, Taxpayers. Building Trade unions, Taxpayers. The social services contingent, oh yeah, they pay taxes also. The fact that you think those tens of thousands of Rhode Islanders don't pay taxes is just ignorant! Charlie Fogarty will do right by ALL taxpayers, including all the proud hardworking Taxpaying union members who build your homes, teach your children, run your prisons safely and provide your social services.
